Find Your Perfect Life Coach

Okay, mama, let’s talk real. You’re drowning, right? In laundry, tantrums, and the never-ending cycle of “me time” that never actually happens. It’s time to throw that life jacket overboard and find yourself a freaking superhero – a coach. Most people call this person a “life coach.” But, I prefer to think of myself as a personal development coach.

I know, I know. Another person to answer to? Ugh. But hear me out. A great personal development coach is like having a cheerleader, therapist, and accountability buddy, all rolled into one super-awesome package.

Why you need a grown up playdate!

Think of time with your coach as your weekly adult recess. Remember those days of carefree laughter and swing sets? Well, adulthood is more like a hamster wheel, but a personal development coach can help you hop off for a sec. Here’s the deal:

  • You’ll stop feeling like a walking, talking snack dispenser.
  • Your brain will get a vacation from the endless loop of “Paw Patrol” and “Cocomelon.”
  • You might actually remember what it’s like to have goals and hobbies.

Finding Your Soul Sister

Yea, I know everyone is doing the “coach” thing these days. But, picking the RIGHT coach is like choosing a new BFF. You want someone who gets you, doesn’t judge your wine consumption, can actually help you conquer your goals, and helps you find the better life you’ve been running after.

How do you find this magical unicorn?

  • Understand what you want. Are you drowning in work, struggling with your kids, or just feeling lost? Figure out what’s keeping you from where you want to be.
  • Don’t be afraid to shop around. Talk to a few coaches. See who makes you feel like you could conquer the world (or at least get through the day).
  • Trust your gut. If you’re getting major “nah” vibes, move on. There are plenty of fish in this coaching sea.

Ask the right questions

When you find a potential coach, don’t be shy. Ask ‘em everything! Like, how many kids do they have? (Just kidding, kind of.) Here are some real questions though:

  • What’s your superpower? (Okay, not really, but you get the idea.)
  • Can you handle my crazy? (Be honest here.)
  • Do you offer wine and chocolate as part of your packages? (Okay, maybe this one too.)

Finding the right coach is like finding the perfect pair of jeans. It might take a few tries, but when you find the one, it’s gonna be a game-changer. So, what are you waiting for? It’s time to ditch the mom uniform and rediscover your awesome self.

Let’s do this!
